ABOUT ESC

ESC Energy Storage Consultancy or Electricity Sustainable Conversion was founded in 2016. The ingredients of making a successful energy transition are already developed. Of course new developments will help and change the amount of possibilities. However a lot of solutions that are deemed economically unfeasible today are in fact feasible when the changes in the availability of sustainable energy is properly taken into account. This can be on local or global scale.

ESC helps to evaluate the feasibility of energy transition projects

ESC has its’ own models for randomness and energy market evaluation, as well as a profound database on the Dutch electricity market.

In practice a lot of energy is wasted in suboptimal design. There are still gas power plants being commissioned in 2022 that both preheat the air and use additional air to cool down that same preheating, especially in most common temperature conditions. The costs of changing this practice are typically outweighed by cost-savings within two years or less. ESC has the strategic partners and practice to provide new control systems that generate these savings. see reference projects

ESC and partners can provide optimal automation solutions for large temperature and pressure controlled airflows

ESC was originally a one man side mission from the founders’ daily work. For seven years our founder was responsible for product development and acoustic engineering for a factory for noise control solutions. They have a lot of tooling that can help you in acquiring the required noise control solutions. Expertise and experience in both noise control, ergonomics and fire safety can be hired from ESC on an hourly base for product development. Please contact us in order to find out if your product is not in direct competition with our other clients.
The current core-business of ESC is technical support to product development teams

Within larger building air need to travel far. In order to get the required pressure to overcome this large ventilation units are required that produce a lot of noise. That noise needs to be attenuated both inside and outside in order to re-establish acceptable noise levels. These attenuators also result to additional pressure losses. With the current technology that uses heat pumps, heat exchangers and recirculation, the ventilation is often uses most energy of the entire building. ESC and Alara-Lukagro b.v. have created a tool together in order to evaluate the energy efficiency of attenuators. Feel free to download the manual and tool on our download page. You can contact us if you want assistance in the improvement of the energy efficiency of the acoustic design.
